Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a (silver) sixpence in her shoe!
Is it possible to have an intimate wedding in Rome in covid times?
The answer is Yes! of course!
Like – unfortunately – many couples, Francesco and Chiara had to postpone their wedding (it was supposed to be last year) and because of covid they decided to have an intimate ceremony in Campidoglio, the city hall of the capital of Italy, and even though everyone was wearing masks, it’s incredible how much love and joy you could actually see and feel. Civil ceremonies are usually short but intense, Francesco and Chiara’s was nothing less.
Surrounded by family and a few friends they said Yes in the most beautiful city of Italy.
After the ceremony there were even more friends waiting, ready to celebrate.
This is one of my favourite moments , to see how much people care and are happy for someone else’s happiness is heartwarming.
I love to catch all of this love with a documentary, “photojournalist”, candid and raw approach as I feel it’s the only one that can truly describe and make visible , the invisible bonds between us.
I’m looking forward to photographing their big party next year!!
